I think you should fix the horizon line.
The roof of the nearest building (RH side) would be a great reference point. _________________ Moderator |

I'll try to fix what you say about horizon but it's quite hard because in a valley it's difficult to determine the horizon I think. The house at the right side is not really straight at all but I'll try to see how it looks . Olympus 21/3.5 (it's written at the right of the frame). This lens it's the most difficult lens to handle that I ever had. Sometimes photos look soft and sometimes they look very sharp, I've planned to buy some new adapter (I sanded the other one and maybe now it's not full 100% performing right). _________________ 5D & Fujica ST801|| Carl Zeiss Planar MM 50/1.7 (departed for resurrection) || Carl Zeiss Distagon 28/2.8 AEJ || Meyer Orestor "Pentacon" (relabeled) 135/2.8 || Carl Zeiss Jena 135/3.5 || Carl Zeiss Sonnar MM 85/2.8 || Carl Zeiss Flektogon MC "White" 35/2.4 || Olympus Zuiko OM MC 21/3.5 || Super Takumar 55/1.8 || Rollei Planar HFT 50/1.8 || "The three tenors" from Orio (Nikkor pre-AI 85/1.8, 135/3.5 & 105/2.5) |

I've tested what you said about infinity and I think it is already done. That old house is build inside the valley and it's not as straight as you think - _________________ 5D & Fujica ST801|| Carl Zeiss Planar MM 50/1.7 (departed for resurrection) || Carl Zeiss Distagon 28/2.8 AEJ || Meyer Orestor "Pentacon" (relabeled) 135/2.8 || Carl Zeiss Jena 135/3.5 || Carl Zeiss Sonnar MM 85/2.8 || Carl Zeiss Flektogon MC "White" 35/2.4 || Olympus Zuiko OM MC 21/3.5 || Super Takumar 55/1.8 || Rollei Planar HFT 50/1.8 || "The three tenors" from Orio (Nikkor pre-AI 85/1.8, 135/3.5 & 105/2.5) |

Don't listen to me. Only you can know what you saw there.
here is what I was thinking. It requires a bit of a crop to get it.
You can see now the near building is level and the tower in the distance plumb.
These being the only real reference for true horizon in this beautiful scene.

I am afraid that the image quality is quite much on the soft side, unfortunately, due to the performance of your Zuiko.
But since you make it a stitched panorama anyway, why not use a longer focal lenght with a better IQ? _________________ Orio, Administrator

I didn't have any other lens on me . This was the only thing I could take. However, I'm studying buying a polariser... do you think that would get skies a little bit better?
@F16SUNSHINE: I think I can now see what you say... The original one is a bit fallen to the right? I was thinking inverse . Great panorama! Amazing , I love the scale.
And I would like to see a Distagon 28 panaroma from this scenery.
I'm not sure about polarizers on wide angle lenses, make sure to use a step up ring, to avoid darker corners.
Next thing I don't know is how the polarizer will affect the panorama, because of the different angles from shot to shot. _________________

Just a litle critics: would be nice if the verticals in the architecture would be straight. especially the middel church-like building.
In your stiching software this can be easily corrected in the editing window ... takes maybe a minute to correct.
Then it gives the feel of a pano-cam with a shift lens to correct lines in architecture (I think Noblex made cams like that some years ago).
Cheers

Thanks guys for commenting!
Tobbsman, I don't get you... I mean, I don't know how to correct those vertical lines, however, that might have lot to do with the horizon line. F16SUNSHINE showed my it wasn't straight at all . _________________ 5D & Fujica ST801|| Carl Zeiss Planar MM 50/1.7 (departed for resurrection) || Carl Zeiss Distagon 28/2.8 AEJ || Meyer Orestor "Pentacon" (relabeled) 135/2.8 || Carl Zeiss Jena 135/3.5 || Carl Zeiss Sonnar MM 85/2.8 || Carl Zeiss Flektogon MC "White" 35/2.4 || Olympus Zuiko OM MC 21/3.5 || Super Takumar 55/1.8 || Rollei Planar HFT 50/1.8 || "The three tenors" from Orio (Nikkor pre-AI 85/1.8, 135/3.5 & 105/2.5) |
