windy today but I go midday in my garden with Zeiss macro-planar 60
no flash, no tripod, no chipped adapter, 100 iso, F5.6 or F8

What great captures! You are always able to take meaningful moments with your bugs, not just their portraits. I don't know how you do but I enjoy them much (strangely, because normally bugs repel me).

The pictures are really stunning! The bugs get bigger and bigger, after the fourth I felt a bit scared - what monster there would be next. Cool

I would say -- it's better than APO Smile

Zeiss didn't have to claim that it's APO - it's so well corrected --

Shocked Beautiful! Great resolution and nice contrast between forground and background. Nearly looks like beeing flashed ... with the hard midday sun shadows ...

I love especially the last one, it has a very fresh spring-like appealing ...
