Hello!
I do not post often here, because I need somebody to translate for me. I know only 5 words of English.
But I talk a lot about cameras and stuff to my son (LucisPictor, guess you know him ) and he told me about this forum.
I had a small collection of M42 cams and lenses as well as several Polaroid cams (always liked the instant picture).
So, it was a really great moment when I got my first digital cam (Olympus C-3030): instant pics and a much better quality than the Polas.
I still like the Olys and my compact digicam is a Olympus SP-350 now.
My first DSLR was a Fuji S1 Pro. First I used a Sigma 24-70 and a Tamron 80-210 with it.
This S1 has been replaced by a Fuji S2 Pro which will be enough for me for good.
But what I don't like anymore is to change the lenses all the time. At an age of 72 I feel an urge for convenience.
I also start to have problem to focus correctly when I use manual focus.
And to be honest, I don't want to shoot on film any more. Digital is much too comfortable for an old boy like me.
Thus, I'm going to sell a lot of my stuff.
I will keep some manual lenses to use them on my S2 every now and then.
But I'm selling all my AF lenses and replace them with a Tamron 18-200 soon.
Just check my signature... perhaps you find something interesting. _________________ My English texts are automatically translated from German by Google.
