My sisters cat has the same sort of markings.
Also the one that lived here for a summer "Pixie".
Pixie was a great mouse catcher until, she discovered we had a sofa _________________ Moderator |

Fine composition, Orio!
I love this shot, the 50D sensor is really matching the lens, nice sharpness.
Kind regards,

Just magnificent! A fantastic result from a fantastic lens and photographer. I wish I had animals that would cooperate and give wonderful poses/expressions like this one.

Thank you Marc.
Cats are usually lazy enough to be cooperative, except perhaps in their first months of life. I appreciate them much as models, because they have the moves of lions/tigers in miniature size. if you start taking photographs of them when they are young, they will get used to it and will (in some cases, like Melissa) also pose for you.
A few cats instead, if not used to cameras, try to avoid being photographed. I first thought it was not possible, but after having monitored them, I realized that it's the presence of the camera what makes them change their attitude. _________________ Orio, Administrator

I only wish I had cameras a bit more quiet. 'CLUNK-CLUNK' of a Zenit mirror doesn't seem to bode well with them. I haven't had a kitten in the house for years now, maybe it is time to train one for photos.
