I think that you've got a bargain. I've got one but I haven't really used it much. However I think that it's very sharp. There's a test somewhere (this forum ?) comparing 5-6 "50s" and I think it comes out well.

The lenses arrived yesterday. They look ok, no scratches on glass but dirt inside (i've seen even a small bug in between the lens groups) and focus extremely stiff. Also they are auto, no manual aperture Looks like i have to glue the pin. Anyway, after i clean them i'll post some samples _________________ www.atelierelealbe.eu |

What camera will you be using them onto?
There are flanged adaptors that will keep the pin pressed. They are usually cheap. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Traded one of 77M for a Helios 81M with f-mount. It needs cleaning. Also the mounting plate is too deepen, looks like i have to take off couple of mm from the diaphragm ring in order to be able to mount it on my nikon. I got the same problem on a Vivitar.
