I can not understand why Contax lens to Eos adapters exist (1,5 mm difference) and Contarex lens to Eos do not exist (2 mm difference).

There's a lot of gorgeous glass in the Contarex catalogue, dammit.

That would not be a problem. I regularly use bigger (see Pentacon 6 lenses) and it's possible also to use much smaller, see the Meniscus that Veijo uses, it's a tiny lens, if register distance allows even a tiny lens can fill the 135 frame.

No, either there is a mechanical problem of some sort, or perhaps no one has still thought about it.
