Life is like a camera. Focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, just take another shot. |

The new firmware works quite well with MF lenses.
However, anything above 90mm or very fast lenses shot wide open might be difficult to focus while handholding.
For the rest this might be the ideal solution for manual focus. |

I did test its new firmware under the sun, it seems work. You can clearly
see focused area. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

For those of you wondering; here's how it works.
You can set the colour (white, yellow, red) and the intensity/sensitivity (off, low, medium, high).
Low seems to be best for exact focus, high for manual focus in low light.

Yeah, you do not have to re-compose like RF cameras.
It is also good to test lens' curvature. Just focusing the flat surface,
the centre and the outer area lit up not the same time!! Or straight lines
will show you curved focusing area. I confirmed the both cases. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

That will be the next NEX7's EVF I guess. This cam may sports 24MP!
I rather want NEX7 to have a crop factor better than 1.5, say 1.3,
of course more pixcel is OK for me. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

Pana's original battery capacity is 1080 mAH, but my others are the both 1,500 mAH.
Maybe because of this I have not noticed it. _________________ Our Home Page has 18,200 photos in 575 directories today.

I didn't find any trouble, works well. Peak focus confirmation works well with wide angle lenses. It didn't work with 135mm lens. _________________ -------------------------------
