Please help with identification.

Camera doesn't carry any logo or mark. Lens is pre-war Biotar 5.8cm f/2 and it's different to SLR pre-war Biotars. Even number of blades is lower - only 8. It's uncoated and made i early 1939. Mount is slightly smaller, than exakta. That's all I can say about it...

It looks as though it's a "home made" camera inspired by a Leica Standard - I've seen similar things in the past dating from times when cameras just weren't obtainable, or from places where they couldn't be bought. I'm afraid I can't help with the lens though - beyond guessing that the man who made the camera must have had it as "inspiration" for the project. I think it's one to treasure as an example of how far people will go in order to get a camera ...

Is the register the same as Exakta?
