Logo design by Lars(Nordentro)
As some of you know, I am more of a lens enthusiast and collector more than a photographer. After years in collecting manual lenses, I begin to dream that one day I will have my own brand. The more i know about lenses, the more i think i can make my dream come true. Thanks to the help of people and my friends around the world, i am able to officially announce my brand and my first lens Solinon 18mm f/5.6 in Leica M mount today.
I want to say thank you to all the contributors on this forum. This forum provide me the best place to learn about manual lenses.
I want to say thank you to all my friends in this forum, which include to all the forum admins and the members who helped me a lot on my personal business.
I want to say thank you to my colleagues who assistant me during the development and operation.
I want to say thank you to Mr. Chan, the owner of https://chan.nds.hk, on testing my prototypes and teach me many knowledge on manual lenses in person.
I want to say thank you to Lars(Nordentro), the site owner of https://manuellfokus.no/, who joined me on making the brand logo, give me advice and help during the lens development, per-launch and post-launch.
I want to say thank you to my brother in law, who is also a lens enthusiast and collector, on supporting my lens collection and development.
And last, I want to say thank you to my mom. I am beyond thankful for having you as my mom and for all you've done to make me who I am today.
Solinon 18mm f/5.6 + GFX 100S
This is the begin of my new journey. I wish to bring more interesting and fun lenses to all of you soon. _________________ The best lens is the one you have with you.

Well, I did just a few hours of very interesting volunteer contribution, for my own pleasure.
Calvin has accomplished something truly remarkable here – designing and producing his own camera lens!
With an impressive blend of technical expertise, precision, and passion for optics, he has created a lens that not only works, but delivers stunning results. This proving what hard work and dedication can achieve.
Congratulations on your first lens Calvin!
