I finally managed to shot with this lens. It's a bit on heavier side, but it's a fast and long range lens, so I kind of expected this. The push zoom is easy to use, though as with all push zooms, it is a bit difficult to do fine adjustments. The sharpness of the lens surprised me (as long as I managed to nail the focus). Color rendition is excellent as well - really nice punchy colors. I wasn't aware that this lens can focus down to 0.85m, which is amazing! So all in all a very versatile lens which can still be used with great results on a 30+ million pixels crop sensor.

And a close focus example (focus on upper white flower):

If you are interested in the specs of this lens, take a look at the excellent adaptall-2.org site: http://adaptall-2.org/lenses/19AH.html

It's one of my favourites, for sure.
