Saw this lens today in my dear dealers window but didn´t ask him. Seems that this lens has a problem and he offers this lens for a very low price. Make it sense to buy this lens, any experiences with this lens ?

Thanks in advance

Wink

I didn't use the lens. But I read in shutterbug (a long time ago, near 15 years or more) that one of the editors (Bob Shell?) had that lens as his favorite to use in weddings jobs.

Good luck.

Rolf, Instead of copying all the info here, I'm putting in a link instead. By the way it was made by Sun,But I don't have it in my collection yet.

Many thanks Walter for the 2 links.
I will ask my dealer what is the problem with this lens and decide then. Thanks again.

Bob's not doing many wedding shoots nowadays! If you don't know what I mean, google his name. Shocked

Please, read adequately. I used sign of interrogation. SO it's not an Affirmative Prayer. If you don't know what I mean, google sign of interrogation. Shocked

It is useful that someone extracts us of the mistake, but it must be with certain bases. Not to make to lose the time in banal explanations

Anyways, thanks. I will gloogle Bob Shell. Perhaps................

Seems that we are talking about a different lens.

This here is a 1:3.8-5.3/35-140 mm lens but with macro too.

First image samples in the next days.

Rolf, that's probably the last year of production for that lens. The link to that lens was off of the second link.
Here is a direct link to it.
Made by Sun Optics in 1983.
