Today I tried the first time the new updated DXO 6.2 for MAC. There are a lot of new features (presets) in it. The preset I used for these pics was the enhancement of fine details.

I use DXO since few years but it seems that the program now has a final quality. Unfortunately process time is very long. I need for 100 images more than 2 hours to convert these from RAW to JPEG (including lens correction etc)

Never heard of that program ...
(last time I touched a Mac was 5 years ago Wink )

Shocked wow that's a lot. But as your results show, it obviously does a wonderful job.

Cheers

The program is also available in a windows version. It is several years on the market and now in the version 6.2

Main feature was at first the lens correction (in the meantime for approx 1.900 lens/camera combinations). DPP for example has since 1 year this feature too - but only for Canon lenses.

Now the programmer added more and more features of a classic PP program.Unfortunately the lens correction is only available for actual AF lenses and not for our hobby - older MF lenses.

Good shots - I like square.
I am not sure about DXO a long time. But it sounds great.
I still have a PowerPC Mac, does 6.2 work on this MAC.
Do you have the normal 99$ edition or the 199$ pro edition?
Would the normal edition be good enough?
Thanks in advance.

Not sure but I believe only with the Intel Macs. I own the pro edition and make an update every year. So I paid "only" 69 €.
