It's beautifully made, and an interesting addition to anyone's collection. But heavy!

Hi Farside, The engineering must have been a really serious challenge, the shutter coupling alone would defy the stoutest of watchmakers! The shutter appears to be coupled at speed selector and the release, but focus an aperture are not and there are TWO pentaprism viewfinders? An engineering exercise? or...............photoshop/chop'n'stitch? If it is real, I'll bet it's a heavy beast!

Out of interest I googled it, it's real. Apparently Peter Kato made a few of them, not just with Praktica's.

You gotta have some respect for someone who can fix up something like that!! How did he get his head around all the problem of a double slr?
