I've been experimenting with some flash portraits in the past couple of weeks, but wasn't totally happy with the umbrella bounce images I was taking. I saw a DIY beauty dish made out of turkey roasting pan and a CD case (the one that holds 50) and tried it. It's not too bad for $4! Here's my first effort with it. Wow charming photo, charming model, charming everything!
Great B&W, and I love the fact that you haven't been afraid of the shadows as many portrait photographers are.
Your model is of a special beauty, she reminds me a bit of Romy Schneider and Claudia Gerini, sort of a mix between the two
She also has found an excellent photographer to take pictures of her.
Those eyes speak volumes and you have put them under the best possible light for them
This is a portrait that many photographers should really study. _________________ Orio, Administrator

It's best to view it with your head rotated 90 degrees to the right .
