Since I retired I've been spending a lot of time in my hometown in Alaska. When I'm here, my mother puts up with a lot of photos.

This is a Nikkor-S 35mm f2.8 non-Ai on a Nikon D5500. ISO 1600, f4, 1/100th sec., auto white balance.

On a walk through downtown Seattle, I encountered this elegant gentleman enjoying the last light of the afternoon in Tillikum Place. I asked if I could take his photograph, and he obliged.

Minolta MD W.Rokkor 28mm f2.8 on a Sony NEX-6.

I like to see a man who knows how to dress for autofocus.

i asked this Gent to 'Pose for a Portrait' as he had an 'Interesting Face' -- I was using my CONTAX RTS II Quartz loaded with the strange 'Agent Shadow 400 film' and lens was my sharp TAMRON BBAR SP 135mm f2.5 with the Contax/Yashica Adaptall mount . Aperture was f5.6 if I remember correctly.

I recently spent a week in Laguna Beach shooting with two Minolta X-700s and 50mm, 28mm and 135mm lenses. This is Rudy Campos, who runs a barber shop in the village. He told me all about what the area looked like when he arrived in the early 1960s. Sounded idyllic. Minolta MD W.Rokkor-X 28mm f2.8, Fujifilm 200.
