It's several times now that I review this thread Smile I only knew this lens from reading, but it looks quite appealing I must admit. I think, however, that it looks a bit unequilibrated on a D700, no? Smile

Looks like a CZ Tessar 2.8/45mm and it seems that results will be similar too. Nice find.

it's less than an inch from the flange to the front of the hood.

Nikon only discontinued this lens a few years ago, which was good for me because it immediately increased the value of this little gem. I find it especially good for architecture.

On my D300 it does look a little strange, and requires some care when focusing, because the grip is so small
