thanks a lot, it is a nice feeling to win but there were not too many propositions to consider so that aspect takes a lot from a win Sad nevertheless below is my photo for upcoming week. It was taken with canon film camera and fujifilm superia asa 400 film. It is under exposed and a lot of noise got into it during the scanning process. Easiest it is to convert to black and white but I think that color will suit it better, what do you think?

try Pixlr

https://pixlr.com

"Express" and "O-Matic" are fun.. and "Editor" is really powerful for a web based tool

This was made with "Express".. just pressed some random buttons:

There are some interesting ways to explore in the few trials above.

I think it should be interesting to flip the image a bit.
The vintage sepia shows there are possibilities with the girl feeding ducks and the water behind, so a nice crop could be done.
Then, what attracted my eye was the blue and red suits' colours. Maybe some clarity and saturation to improve colours in the picture ?

See you. Smile

Thanks, I'll take a look. If I can edit a pic on line it would be something worth trying - I've been banned from installing anything! Very Happy

Nice ones nurkov and Edgar! (How did you do that Edgar?)

Ahhh Peter, a very complicated and time consuming procedure! Wink

In Photoshop, go to Filter, then Filter Gallery, click on Stylize and then Glowing Edges. Voila! Smile

Tadaaa... Very Happy

Few participants this week.
I hope participants will be able to come back in next weeks. Wink

So, this week's winner is Nurkov, please post a new challenge.

I propose that people who are not at ease with post processing could post a contest. It can happen that some member would like to print a beloved or specific photo and would like to enhance it but don't know how. It would be interesting for her/him to have some very good proposals here.
These works could be treated in parallel.
What do you think about this proposal ? Smile

Here is a B&W version I did of the above photo.

Thank you Nurkov. Very Happy

It reminds me Dino Buzzati's novel "il deserto dei Tartari" ("The Tartar Steppe") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Tartar_Steppe
from which has been made a movie called "The desert of the Tartars" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Desert_of_the_Tartars.
