Very saturated colors. The village looks very old. Good captures.

Wow, beautiful and fascinating pictures. I like the kite picture best.
How did you get the M42 lenses to focus properly on the Nikon? DO you use an optical adapter?

PostPosted: Sun Jun 22, 2008 8:58 am    Post subject: answer peterqd question Reply with quote

hi peterqd

I use m42 lens on Nikon by modifing mount. not use the optical adapter.

The image is different between on Nikon and Canon. Smile

Great work!

Changing mount on the lenses sounds interesting, do you have a guide or some pictures of this? I'm thinking about doing something similar with Contax lenses to A mount.

Welcome and thanks for sharing some great photos.

Any information you have on mount modification would be very welcome.

Lovely images, I really like the third one of the village. Is that someone in one of the windows? Even better if it is. The bridge and kites have a good sense of space I love the kites too, is that Ice in the river or is it dry? The Nude has lovely colours and nicely lit but I find the pose a little awkward.

The nude main problem is the tilted horizon, that makes the shot looks awkard because the eyes are puzzled.

Anyway great shots, I especially like the compositions and the tones you managed to capture.

A superb standard of work.
Excellent range of tones, colour balance and very thoughtful composition.
I have to say the nude is exceptional. A very good standard of work.
Hope to see many more from you.

Do you have a web site/blog WHY. If not why not. I want to see more.

I know it isn’t too difficult to get M42 lenses on to Nikon. I used to use a couple of Nikon lenses on my Pentax K mount, which is very easy.
Do you shave a little off the lens or the adaptor?

Now this is what I call a very tasteful nude. Erotic, for sure, buth with a grace, elegance and taste that too many erotic photos ignore.
Hat off.
