Hi,

today I decided to buy the second Leica lens I have found at my dear dealer last week. After some discussions I purchased a Leica Elmarit-R 2.8/35mm (2nd calculation, 2nd - latest - version) in like new condition too for the half of the normal used price. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Thanks again my dear dealer. I love you more and more. Wink

Here few shots of this lens

... and here few first images with this lens (after conversation to Nikon F mount) this afternoon/evening during my late walk around.

Nothing special, at the moment we have high water again in our valley.

here 2 ISO 6400 shots

Thanks for viewing and comments.

Rolf, those simple shots show already so much about the quality of that lens ! Congrats for your new purchase. I feel some envy rushing through my veins Laughing Laughing Laughing

While watching the high-water photos, some remembrances come up. We had here in 2002 lot's of destruction through high water and this scenes which you show look really familiar to me.
Hope you are not personally involved (with loss of property etc.) ...

Many thanks Tobias and Attila.

Fortunately our house stands 20 or 30 meters higher on a little hill, so there must be a lot of high water until we will get one´s feet wet. Cool
