The best thing about this sort of camera is that you can have so much fun under the black cloth looking at what you can do with the movements, that you never need to use any film _________________ Stephen

Thats a lovely piece and a great price.
I just got a 4x5 view camera, a bit more "eccentric" than that, and needs work. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Got one of those a couple of years ago, just for the gits and shiggles. Came with a full-on Graphlok back with all the bells and whistles, too. Mine doesn't have the red bellows, just black ones. _________________ Dave - Moderator

Mine is a Brand Camera - made by Brand Camera Co., Los Angeles, about 1947-48 ?
It was a very short lived company.
Like yours takes a 4" lensboard.
I have a lot of lenses for the thing, just need to remount lenses from 3" to 4" lensboards.
Biggest complaint I've got is the spring back won't take roll holders, it won't open enough.
I will have to swap it somehow with a Graflex spring back I've got.
Its the older one in this post.

The complaint about the slow focus is not really correct - focus knob is just for fine focus. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

Shouldn't be too hard to modify to a Graflex back. The lens boards should be easy. I'll probably make my own lens boards as I have plenty of aluminum for the job and every now and then some time on my hands!! LOL
