Great scene, I like the way the trees converge to the middle of the frame,but I would do a bit of White Balance Post Processing to correct the blue tinge of the snow & ice to make it look white...

Already tried that in PP Scott and it loses the cold look IMO.

Any chance you might share a color corrected version with us?...Here's a link to a photo a friend on another group took of "frozen fog"...While it doesn't convey the cold, it is neat as I am sure yours would be too...

Sure thing Scott but we're looking at two different lighting scenarios here; your friend's shots are in the open and lit from either side by the sun or from above with the white fog glow, while mine is largely backlit and in shade but with a clear blue sky directly above. My shot's already been CC'd too as well - for shade since most of it falls into that category.

We also have different visions of what we as photographers may want to convey; which doesn't always equate to absolute accuracy - hence the existence of Velvia... Wink
