it costs too much to buy a camera only to take out the screen |
If I can remove the Spotmatic screen without damage, it is yours |

Orio,
While I bought a cheap Chinese screen off of eBay, I also bought several different genuine Nikon replacement screens for not much money & I am going to be cutting them down myself. I went & bought a digital micrometer to get the measurements correct & there are directions online for cutting the screen for my Nikon D70s... _________________ Cameras-Nikon D300, D7100,D610,FE2,FTN ,FT2,N90s, Olympus Pen EP-3 & Olympus OM-D E-M10

my screen arrived last week.
i had to calibrate it (putting a bit tape around the metal shim) and afterwards fixing the screen using the ends of a toothpick.
ok, thats a lot of modification, but now i am happy with the result.
the only thing, that could be better, is that the screen of alex seems not as bright as the original screen of my eos30. _________________ EOS 5D, EOS 30
