Haven't had it out yet, but hope to tomorrow if the weather is good - will let you know Wink

Damn nice stuff! I still do not have the 100/3.5 Crying or Very sad

But I'll try to compare my 75/3.5 T-Takumar (from the Takane Minesix Super 66 folding camera) with your samples. After all, both are triplets and from exactly the same era.

(Pssssttt... There's no such thing as a SMC-M Takumar Wink )

is the f2/55mm Auto Takumar, not f1.8, and to my understanding it's not really a preset neither Wink
but it's a lovely lens, and amazing performer!

For your delectation, I present to you the Asahi Pentax [aka the 'AP' or Tower 26]. This one is most likely from 1958 given the serial number, and its Takumar 2.2/55 seems to suggest that it's the original lens for the camera.

The first of today's offerings - had been hunting for one of these (the body) for quite a while, they seem pretty scarce out there?

And, seeing as it's Easter Sunday, I though it would be appropriate to shoot this black beauty Wink

When the Heiland division of the Honeywell Corporation took over distribution of Asahi Optical equipment in the USA, the AOC logo was replaced by the Honeywell 'H', and cameras were initially branded as Honeywell Heiland Pentax. This particular camera - the H3 - is the equivalent of the Asahi Pentax S3.

Have just returned from North Wales to find a package containing this little beauty - the Spot Exposure Meter. Built in 1960 and produced for 3 years, the Model I was the first true 'spot' meter, and paved the way for other manufacturers to develop and produce their own systems.

Apparently so (previous owner had it working) - am waiting for a friend to get in touch with a contact to source the batteries from.

This is a real novelty item in my opinion - it's way too difficult to use in any practical manner. I've tried it a few times, but just can't (or perhaps don't want to) get the hang of using it!

Mirror Adapter II - for the voyeuristic photographer Wink

I have one too, but marked "Mirror adapter", without II, but same 58mm filter thread. This is not very easy to use, indeed Wink

It's been over a month since I added anything, but I've been on holiday and busy with work, and haven't seen all that much that interests me out there.

This showed up in the post recently though. It's a little beauty.

These are amazingly small lenses. I didn't think it possible for a 35mm lens to be any smaller than the Auto-Tak 35mm f3.5.

The Auto-Takumar 3.5/35 is physically ever so slightly smaller than the 4/35 - but the 4/35 weighs approximately 5 grams more Wink

That's why I said smaller, rather than lighter! Laughing My 35mm f4 weighs just under 133 grams without caps.
