Hello everyone, I have a question concerning Russian lenses. As many will know, you see many lenses fitted with an adapter that you remove with three screws, the most common ones you may encounter are M42 and Nikon. They are only found on lenses with manual aperture or preselection; the question is whether this type of adapter, usually spartan in appearance and almost handmade, has a name, should you be looking for one with a different mount.

Thanks in advance

Show a photo, please. In the Soviet Union, several adapters were made - КП-6/Н, КП-А39, КП-А42, КП-42/Н, КП-АН, КП-АК.

Is this what you're talking about?
"КП" is a Russian abbreviation meaning "adapter ring"
