Last week I visited Mt. Grosser Rettenstein in Tyrolia. What a wonderful place. On the middle plateau it's all green, with water flowing all over the place. Then a little higher the mountain becomes all rough and rugged. On top I even got over the clouds giving me some spectacular views. Here are some impressions:

Lots of interesting detail.

The third one is not crosseye.

Thanks for noticing. I changed #3. Now it's crosseye too.

I can return the compliment: Excellently chosen and well composed for stereo viewing! That Petri lens really is something. As you probably know from my blog I'm also a fan of (some) Petri lenses.

Some excellent pairs but there is a distraction by some black edges at the tops. I crop these off mine.

Ok, thanks. They don't bother me, but if they're a showstopper for others, I will either cut them off or go back to using the framing option in SPM.

I wouldn't say they are that distracting but I always notice them. Sometimes, with my images, I don't see them until after posting because of the dark workspace in PS. They are a trademark of SPM auto alignment, which I sometime cancel, with little loss of stereo effect. With some pairs of images I have to crop each to get SPM to frame the way I require.

On page 16 I uploaded an image of this same vehicle with distracting yellows from cars alongside.

A month later:

A7r3, Canon 35mm T/S (normal) f11.

Looks great indeed - the powerful color helps as well!

Those vultures aren't shy... it's recommended not getting closer though:

How did you do that one? Do you have a stereo rack by now?

Thanks. It looks to me as if I used a much longer lens but I didn't own one then.
