Yeah, pretty amazing. Didn't know anything about it when I saw it but that just made me figure it was rarer. It's got some heavy speckling on the front element that cleaning didn't clear up. It's lacking in contrast because of it. |

Mine suffered too and coating had disappeared quite a lot.
After contrast PP, pictures are very good. _________________ Olivier - Moderator

Both were within my small budget so I bought them. The Tele-Xenar is very nice
looking. Waiting for an adapter to try it out.

I was fortunate to find this lens on eBay recently in Olympus OM mount for £80.

It was not really my intention, however I recently became owner of a Leitz Telyt 200/4 (M39 Visoflex).
Here adapted with M42 helicoid adjusted for the right distance + M42 macro ring + M42->EOS + EOS->Nex, the latter two collapsable to M42->Nex, but I was too lazy to look for it (apologies for the iPhone picture):

My last lenses.
Still on their way to Italy, or just arrved.
A pity i'm away... i'll lay my hands on them in a couple of months
The first is an old single-coated Flektogon, with leatherette focusing ring grip.
Then there is a Trioplan N 100mm in Exakta mount (still no news from forum users who happened to open it for cleaning/repairs, contct me if you have infos)
The last is a nice example of most recent production (before bankruptcy) by one of my favorite japanese third party lens makers, Komura.
It's a Komura K.M.C. Komuranon f/2,8 28mm, in PK mount, with all the original accessories & box. Looks pristine.
I still regret selling a Komura f/2,8 152mm for 4x5", that lens was in no way inferior to some of the most celebrated large format lenses made in Germany.
AFAIK there was no other competitor, or similar design, but the uber-expensive Schneider Xenotar.... no other 150mm f/2,8. The Zeiss Planar was a 135mm, if i remember correctly.
I'd like to know more about this 28mm.
It is likely multi-coated (K.M.C.), and strangely enough it's marked Komura Ltd. (as it was made by a UK company).
According to my taste, the lens looks beautifully made.
I'm curious to know what you think...
Trying to keep expenses under check, and renounce to some of my most desired lenses, if the price is not within the range i (arbitrarily and very subjectively) deem as fair/convenient.
Payed 246 euros for all three lenses, plus another 40 for shipment.
I have in my radar the multi-coated f/2,4 version of the CZJ Flektogon since long, but i consider 90/95 euros as my price limit. The "market" (i.e. the buyers) seem to have a different opinion... and i'm losing one auction after another
To acquire something interesting/worthy i have to go for items that most snobbish collectors would not even consider.
The Flektogon is filthy (but i think it will clean nicely), the Trioplan was sold as "defekt", and the Komura doesn't appeal to people who only think in terms of "brand".
EDIT:
Oops... forgot the Super Takumar f/4 300mm!
Time to relax for a while, i guess...
cheers

After a complete CLA done by myself i think it looks good now.
