So, was it serviced? Did they make an overhaul in Japan? I am interested... It seems to be that my lens will need the same..

I sent the lens to Tritec Germany but they had to send it to Japan
Mine had a special problem as a free screw was moving in the barrel and could possibly have done more damage
I think the floating element didn't moved as intended because of the missing screw
Fortunately most Contax lenses doesn't have floating element and never need adjustment service
