Well, I took a walk today with that special Lamegon lens, also a Biogon derivative, shot at f2.8
except otherwise noted.

Full set is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/kds315/sets/72157638525890254/

(There are some deliberately similar subjects chosen to compare with the Hoya WA f4 60mm Biogon derivative lens here:

These are stunning Klaus.
Is there a 35mm as well as a 38mm lamegon?
Congratulations

Thanks OH! I have a few types, some unique ones and they differ in focal length a bit.
But basically they are all the same optical formula, bit different housings tho.

What does this lens even look like? eBay and Google both turn up no results (other than this thread ...)

My German is slightly rusty, but this name is derived from LAndMEss(ung) meaning land surveying and the suffix GON from the greek for angle. Lamegons, Super Lamegons, Lametars and Lamegorons were designed for aerial photography and/or terrestrial photogrammetry. High resolution and low distortion were key design goals.

Klaus, the pictures appeared in an earlier thread of yours ( http://forum.mflenses.com/using-a-38mm-biogon-lamegon-design-lens-t43774,start,15.html ) in connection with a "38mm Biogon/Lamegon design". Is the lens in this thread the same as the one in the earlier thread ? If so, case does the "35mm" in the title of this thread refer to camera format rather than lens focal length?

I had mentioned that above: "I have a few types, some unique ones and they differ in focal length a bit. But basically they are all the same optical formula, bit different housings tho."
