Bologna After Dark

Having received today the Helios 40 I was impatiently waiting for I decided to put it soon to work in its natural environment: low light shooting.

All shots made with my Oly e410 (not the best camera in low light situations, but oh well...), ISO 400, F 1.5 (alas wide open).

impressive result wide open!
and 170mm is not easy for street shooting
I see only little sensor bloom around the bright light (top left lamp in #4), have you corrected in photoshop

You are going to love this lens. Fine first effort - the lens takes some getting used to. Ahhh the food in Bologna!

Thanks! At night at f1.5, in that horrible tunnel that is called viewfinder in the e410, focusing is a matter of hit and mess (and ISO400 didn't help too much to have great sharpness).

Is there any busking license required on Bologna's streets Smile ?

I'd like to come there, if not ... Smile
