Hi!
As first mentioned in http://forum.mflenses.com/viewtopic.php?p=8057#8057 I like to start a series of lens grading polls. Lenses that are pretty common and thus owned by several users here can be graded to evaluate an average impression users have.
I think 5 levels should be enough.
Number of stars - meaning:
***** - An excellent lens, the best you can find with this focal length
**** - Very good lens, some kind of "must have"
*** - Good lens, a model that you would recommend to a friend
** - Average lens, nice in some aspects but rather poor in others, still OK for a nice price
* - A lens that is quite bad, perhaps only for a collector who wants to complete his collection
none - Lens is absolutely shoddy! You wouldn't even take it for free.
This is part I: Jupiter-9 2/85

P.S.: Of course, everybody is free to add new polls with new lenses... _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!

The statistical base is too small, I think.
I would say:
- 80% rate this lens as "recommended" or better.
- the median is 4

Yes, of course. In statitsics you always have some kind of divergence.
Anyway, it is too small at the moment. I hope it will be growing... _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!
