UV Topcor 35mm f3.5 lens.

I have a Topcor 35mm f3.5 lens. Is there a way to adapt it to sony a6000 camera? I have been looking on line and there doesn't seem to be an adapter. Any advice would be appreciated.

If it has the Topcon/Exakta mount, yes

You could do that for a mount you already have an adapter for.

It seems to be a Topcor UV lens which won't fit on the adapters posted before, unless you have the extremely rare Topcor UV to Topcor RE adapter which takes care of the aperture setting which is originally part of the camera.
Obviously the Topcor UV to Sony E-mount adapters are presently sold out on Ebay.

There are some adapters to other mounts I don't know which ones in turn can be adapted to e-mount (except for the m42 adapter but hen you also have to buy the lens):

Thanks for your replies. I have found an adapter made by a guy in Italy, however the price is nearly 3 times the price I paid for the lens. I will have to think about it. Has anyone any idea of how good these uv lenses from Topcor are? Are they great, good or indifferent. I might consider getting the adapter if the lens and some of the other uv lenses by Topcor are above average in performance. Your opinions would be appreciated.

Actually I've got almost all of the UV Topcor lenses and I can tell you that they are better than their reputation.

Those lenses are available for very little money because of the adapter issue. I would say that they are all well above average.

I bought it from a guy who makes them at home, he's in the US. I found him through ebay. Can't find his link at the moment.....

I could not find an adapter for sony e mount from USA, as Thomas said they must be sold out. I have decided to order one from Italy and have ordered it tonight. Again thanks to all for your input and information.

Topcor UV are apparently far better than one would expect as the UV series was their lower end equipment. But the photos I have seen put the lie to that theory. I have not personally tried them but as I say the images seem to be quite good. But then the RE lenses can be spectacular.

I've compared both 100mm lenses of the RE and UV line in this thread:

As you can see yourself, there isn't much difference.
So either the RE lenses are overrated or the UV ones are underrated. Wink

There is an internet site called 'The Instructables' called Using Kiev-10/Kiev-15 Lenses on Digital Cameras. They will supply instructions as to construction of the adapter for Sony e mount. He is a professor from Kentucky. There is nothing on the site about making them for sale to public. The making of the adapter requires 3D printing which might be a problem. This maybe of use to you, hopefully.

RE Auto Topcor lenses have gone through the stratosphere with their pricing, however the UV Topcors languish because of the lack of adapters that can make the apertures work.
Here is a site that shows how to make your own adapter from camera parts.
It could be worth the effort, especially as the lenses themselves have been shown to be excellent

The founder/administator of that group is Roger Lee, he's the one who made mine as well! I never knew he had this flickr group before.

i bought my UV Topcor -> Nex adapter from this Ebay seller in the US.

I don't see the NEX version listed, but he can usually order if he is out of stock.
