I think the performance of this lens on Pentax-Q is excellent! What is your view?

Another boring leaves, flowers etc. Tasteless, useless, says nothing about lens.

Having a bad day? Post your own samples of this lens/ camera combo if you think you can do better.

Looks pretty good to me, especially on the Q which can be a bit fussy. Thanks for the samples!

This speaks volumes about the lens. The point is about technical, not artistic, performance. Understand the difference and you'll feel better.

Looks good, C mount?

Does it give you infinite focus? Seems to be fine to see long distance pics too.

Yes, the adapter allows infinity focus with this lens. Smile

I think so, but I don't have the standard prime. I just have the 02 lens (5-15mm). Very Happy

I have the same lens but the mount is a tad bigger than D (I bought a D to C adapter and it did not fit). Its seems like its 15 mm diameter and should fit D mount but did not.

I temporarily made a ring out of thin sheet of brass and wedge it between the C adapter and lens collar.
I would prefer the right adapter for this if someone could help me identify this.

Here's what it looks like.

And here's a sample picture.

The lens is not with me at the moment. But if I remember it correctly, mine is a c-mount version. However, I have another 38 mm Taylor Hobson 15mm screw-mount lens. As you say, it doesn't fit a d-mount adapter. I also want someone in the forum can help to point out what kind of mount it is and how to adapt it on my Pentax-Q!

If you are referring to graduation picture I'm a newbie and self thought in photography and this was taken around 7:30 PM few minutes before the sun sets. Besides my errors in exposure and focus, You got to love this lens. The subject just pop out of the swirly bokeh

What is the minimum focusing distance of this lens? The OP images seemed to be taken at close distance. They looked pretty good, but I would reserve "stunning" for other results.

Can't remember exactly. Should be around 1 meter. But I added aM25 extension ring to achieve macro function. : )

You definitely need something better than that shaky bit of brass shim, because it's doing the lens no favours at all.

I found a lock nut that fits and I glued it with JB kwik weld to a C-M43 adapter. finally I can play with this lens. I have another one like these but with a somewhat a D mount (little bigger 13mm instead of 12.5). I also have 0.5 and 1.5(f1.9) inch TH comat in D mount that I can not use so Pentax Q owners PM me if interested.

I maybe using this for portraits.

Sample portrait skin softened, clarity, vibrance and contrast adjusted a bit. Aperture wide open - swirl goes away at f4
