A gentleman, about 70 km from home, was selling is complete Olympus/Tamron equipment and i just could not resist.

Olympus OM2-n body, Olympus Flash + RingFlash, Olympus OM Data back and the following Tamron lenses... 5 SP lenses Smile

(51B) SP 17mm f/3.5
(01A) SP 35-80mm f/2.8-3.8
(52B) SP 90mm f/2.5 macro
(51A) SP 70-150mm f/2.8 Soft
(55B) SP 500mm f/8
(01F) SP 2x converter
(104A) 75-250 f/3.8-4.5

Everything is in very good condition and functional. I will use these lenses on my K10D. The 17mm will end up on Ebay though, as i already have a Pentax 12-24mm. Will also sell my Tokina 500mm mirror... i love the Tamron with built-in tripod ring, this will be fun to use with a monopod.

I bought the whole kit mainly for the 70-150mm f/2.8 soft and the 500mm mirror and both are in like new condition Smile . The 70-150 is really easy to focus on my Pentax. That little 35-80mm is a great handler too.

The picture was taken on my kitchen table (tempered glass) with a Pentax-A 35mm f/2.0

Nice haul! All those lenses are fantastic, even the 104A (although I've only tried a fungused copy Sad)

I haven't had good results with my 500/8 mirror, but I read somewhere that it's best used without the tripod collar i.e. screw the camera onto the tripod instead...will try next time!

Anyway, congrats!

That isn't an old sales photo? All of it looks brand new! What a kit! Fun stuff. Fabulous find. Just curious what you don't like about the 17? It would probably be a lot more fun on Pentax FF camera, someday.

No! Not an old sales catalog photo Wink
Everything is in great condition. All lenses were kept in their original cases... those really took good care of keeping the lenses looking like new, those cases worked really hard as most of them are worn out and ugly.

About the 17mm, there is no FF Pentax DSLR in the near future and i have not used my 35mm bodies since i went digital a few years ago. It sure is a very nice lens though, this is the one with the built-in filters and the huge rubber hood. But for digital, i have a Pentax DA 12-24mm f/4.0.

By the way, the set also included a Wide-Field Tele-View Adapter to turn that 500mm mirror lens into a 25x telescope... i just forgot to put it in the picture.

This turns any Adaptall lens into a telescope or spotting scope.

Focal Lenght/20

Salut Himself!

J'ai trouve le kit sur LESPAC, un monsieur de Lacolle (QC). L'annonce a été en ligne 2 jours.

Aren't these screams of envy and agony just music to your ears? Very Happy hahaha, congrats. Great deals like these really make the addiction worthwhile, don't they?

I recently had a pretty good one two, with a full Hassie kit (CF 50/4, 60/3.5, 80/2.8, 100/3.5, 150/4, 2x 500CM, 5x backs) for $1900. I was able to upgrade my entire lens lineup from C T* to CF T*, added two FLs I didn't have (60 and 100), traded out couple of my crappy backs for couple of the nicer backs, sold everything else and came out about even.
