Made another jaunt to the Grand Trunk railyard today.
Found lots of new evidence of the buildings having been
secured, but that didn't hold us back. Wink

A significant portion of the powerhouse's roof has
collapsed since my last visit, letting in light.
So much of the roof is now part of the floor, that
I didn't even need the flashlights.

Used only the Tamron SP 28-80mm manual focus lens, in spite
of having other lenses with me. Quite the useful lens,
my Tammy. I think I'll keep her. Very Happy

Nice series.
My faves are 5 to 8, great colour and captured the atmosphere.
Looks like that the guys finished their work at the evening and didn´t begin at the next morning.

Great series - sad to see an abandoned place like that which should have been recyclable

Wow! I wish to find such a place to take photos too.

#5 is my favourite definitely.

Nos 5, 14, 18 for me.
Whenever I see abandoned old workbenches I want to take them home with me Smile

Another excellent series. Thank you Craig for having pointed me here from the other thread. I dunno why but the sadness of neglected places kinda appeals me. You made good choice in the selection of desaturated pictures,
I find these renders well in BW. I like the first one for the color match between the intense blue sky and the pale green of the shed. #11 captured my eye for the lighting and the clarity of details, bits of old machinery memories of an old splendor long gone. That said, every other have something peculiar.

Cheers, Marty.

I appreciate the comments, everybody.

It's a heck of an interesting hobby, tromping around these derelict wrecks. Cool
Provides unique photo opps, as well.
