People stare at you when you use it!
It's handheld only ( the seller misplaced the triod collar )
But...I Love it !!......Canon FL 300mm/2.8 ssc Fluorite preset tele
All crops are actual pixels
Wide open

and at 1000th/f4

Hmm, those images make me want one.
How much was it?
Is there any difference in terms of optics between FL and FD ( same lens of course)?

Bought locally for about 120 us mint and then converted to m42screw so that it can be used with the m42/eos adapter Very Happy

do you get infinity focus on the Pentax ?

If so, was the lens hack to M42 an easy one?

Paul, he did make mention of converting it to M42 to use on EOS, so I'm
pretty sure these are with a Canon DSLR of some sort.

Fabulous results!

Very easy with some tools The back portion of the lens was shortened on the lathe , and a machined part of an old 2 x extender was mounted flush with the inner diam of the back
Perfect infinity focus on both spottie and the Canon 50D Very Happy

The bird roughly about 5 meter if i remember correctly ,the surfer about 40 -50 meters (difficult to judge the distance over water) Sad
