Two shots from yesterday, taken with a Zeiss Biotar alu 58mm and macro rings.
Even this lens may be fine for macro , I think.

Nice, very nice.

One question - hope you don't mind. How is it the insect does not fly off or run away when you are getting so near?

With a 50mm macro you have to choose easy subjects.
These two insects are very docile and you can also bring them a lot ....
For those more "wild" it is better to use lenses from 100mm to rise Very Happy

Just getting started with macros, i find your pictures both impressing and inspiring. Got some macro rings with an old Exa. Seems to be time to try them out. Thanks for sharing!
