This lens was made for Zeiss Ikon Tenax rangefinder. any experience with this lens?
I saw someone adapt it on Sony NEX.

What a nice looking camera - i think Attila was showing it here some time ago - not sure what lens was on it.

Yes, I had , very valuble 500 USD item if older interchangeable Tenax, quality was fine vs half frame I think better than Olympus PEN.

Attila thats nice camera indeed. Cool ! half frame from Zeiss... and prewar. I see your cam has Tessar lens. I read this cam came with Tessar and sonnar.

Usually Sonnar is more respected one, don't convert it , just temporary mount. Not too many available worth to care properly. My repair man can make proper reversible temporary mount if you wish to use it a lot.

my optical block of sonnar 4cm/2 is arrived. Now I need ltm body to sacrifice. like this http://www.sonynex.ru/index.php?showtopic=3771
the problem is, it's only optical block, I tested handheld, can achieved infinity on NEX.

Try to find a donor common lens and remount into by technician.

I've only ever seen one -and that was back around 1960!

But wasn't it a square negative size - 24x24mm?

Klaus, I dont think so. I was lost, then seller offered me, same lens.

24x24 right Stephen thanks! To adopt lens to a new donor: If not perfectly fit think about hard plastic as nest of genuine lens , my repair man made such a good conversion , genuine lens remain untouched , but connection is strong enough in my case to fix sony nex adaper on movikon lens back.

That's right, seller has at least 3 copies. he was still selling one last week. now it's gone.

I attached it in my contax RF/Kiev - Nex adapter, works nicely.plus I can make it closer MFD, so close focus shots on #3 like using extension tubes.
samples, increase contrast, resize.

you really know of, look for and in the end successfully get the most rare and for me until then unknown lenses, congratulations!

Actually I never know this lens before, just spotted in *bay, bid and lost. then seller offered me same lens, as he had other copy. I took it.

I only have optical block, here's pict of it
