The next set from my visit in Germany, in march this year.
The harbour in Rostock, a city on the baltic sea.
It was so freaky cold that I decided to use the distagon 21, to prevent camera shake Rolling Eyes

Perhaps they look a bit dark, but I wanted to keep the atmosphere. Taken at 3pm, I did not change the internal clock.

They communicate the feeling of cold very well indeed.
Love the last one! Laughing

You can feel the cold. Is that last one the sign for a car launch spot?

Thanks friends! Wink
Well actually I was really amazed by the darkness (in the early afternoon) and the cold.
A guy at the harbour told me that 0°C on the sea feel much colder than -20 in dry air. I guess he is right.

Hehe, not sure about that, there is definitely more than one way to read the sign Laughing

Hi,

nice serie. The weather seems very cold and unfriendly.

I was with my family 4 weeks later there. Please forgive me when I add a picture here. It´s normally not my nature to add pictures but it should show what you perhaps have missed Wink

Thanks for your understanding.

Rolf

Wow, twenty years ago, I'm sure that a lot of things have changed since then. I really would like to see some pictures. Wink

Thanks Rolf, the weather was indeed unfriendly, cold, like others said - gloomy.
It was like night and day, compared to portuguese weather in march and it showed me that nearly everyday with sunshine can be boring too.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the change.

Your nice picture shows the warnemünde pier, right? Wink

It's really amazing how these pictures turn out despite the gloomy weather.

Yes that´s right. We spent some days at the Hotel Hohe Düne Warnemünde.
