Thank you. We are close to the Cascade range of the Rockies. It was volcanic just before the Ice Age and there are many remnants of volcanoes and the broken terrain that goes with them. The waterfalls are at their low points since we have not had real rain in a while. Also much of the area is rain forest - as is most of the Pacific NW - see Laurence, Andy, Chris etc. This past two weeks have been perfect fall weather with bright sunny days and hiking up the many trails to these sites has occupied us for a few of those days. Tough lugging a pile of cameras and lenses, so I have been carrying one lens per camera (3). No tripod (although I cried for one most of the time, but I just dont have the physical strength).

Thank you again. I am fortunate living in such a beautiful place and I try to catch what I can of it.

I dont think I have
a) the strength to carry a med format outfit
b) the patience to wait while someone else "does" my shot for me
c) the budget for another decent kit (I always wanted a hassie).

Yashica 124g 0.9kg 6x6

Bessa RF folder 6x9,Bessa I, Bessa II 6x9 0,5 kg fix lenses just fine for landscapes.

Even Yashica Electro 35+ Velvia produce better result than digital.
