...after a refreshing afternoon nap.

Of course, I had to "test" the Yashica ML 1.7/50 and of course I did so with my favourite model. Wink

What a beautiful daughter, Carsten! She could easily make the actress for the baby food ads and packagings.

Great performance of the lens also, not too intrusive with sharpness, the right balance of tone and detail for portraits.

I join to Orio's opinion look at the first pic perfect baby commercial.

Of course, any portrait of that little doll would look great! Lovely, Carsten and the lens seems to be just soft enough to enhance the portraiture.

Thanks a lot, guys. Yes, our daughter looks like an angel and often she is one, but sometimes... Wink
She's pretty smart and knows what she wants and although she is only 19 months old, she tries to have her own way.
These are the moments when education begins. Wink

As far as the lens is concerned, I am pretty amazed by it. It actually is quite sharp.
I forgot to mention that these pictures were shot at f2.8!

Indeed! I got mine for € 10,-...

@Flor27: It is OK wide open, it loses sharpness, I might say "of course", but it still is acceptable.

It loses sharpness, but look at the smooth focus-to-background transition in picture 5... you don't need sharpness for that picture, actually, sharpness might work against that picture.
