Great set, Carsten, looks like your family had a great time! I like the clouds

That Minolta Hi-Matic is certainly a keeper!

Beautifully clean images, I get a feeling of spacious light and excitement from observing these shots. The last image with the Hi-Matic shows GREAT ability to collect the light values and delivers superb color and sharpness. _________________

That marina shot was difficult by the look of it - a nice capture. Overall, they are really illustrative of a great camera, surprisingly good film, decent lenses and somebody who knows how to use them. _________________ Dave - Moderator

Wow, I've been waiting for these! The exposures and colours are superb, even with cheap old Jessops film. You've caught that mystical quality of the light in the North absolutely perfectly, especially the one of Nele on the beach. The graininess is much less noticeable when the exposure is correct.
Do you remember when I had vignetting problems with a shade on the MIR-1 too? _________________ Peter - Moderator

Thanks very much, gentlemen. I am really glad that you like these shots.
Each of these three cams is a gem: the Spotmatic SPII is my favourite film cam (Peter, that was such a great present!), it just feels so good and produces excellent results, the Leica C2 is an almost perfect AF point'n'shoot cam with a very nice lens (the flares in the cloud-and-sea-shot are pretty harmless for such a situation!) and the Hi-Matic E seems to be a wonderful little rangefinder.
Thank you guys for having me "tasting film blood" again.

Yeah, funny, isn't it?
I shot with this lens so often digitally that I completely forgot about the wider FoV on film... _________________ Personal forum activity on pause every now and again (due to job obligations)!
