on my lcd they are without contrast, no real black and white
I would like to know how the others rate those B&W conversion

Those photographs are definitly very low in contrast. You could go much more to extremes with B&W, it needs it.

For my taste the first and the last picture is converted well, they look very appealing to me !

Which Program do you use for converting ?
Lightroom works very well for beginning converting. You can nicely play with the color sliders in B&W mode ...
