Fuji 400 superia. I think I like the kodac gold better.

I don't have time to go anywhere except horse shows on the weekend so I shoot what I have.

Between rain showers. Very dark out.

Between serious photography at horse shows I play with the film a little.
I found the focus confirmation adapter on the yashica 1.7/50mm locked the mirror on the EOS 3 so I think these were with the flek 2.4/35mm but am not sure.

Now that I look at the horse show shots, I don't think they were with the flek because the IQ isn't good enough. I know they weren't with my L glass for the same reason.

Flower shot is great.

I like the horse shots. Great rendering on film.
However I see heavy noise reduction that induce many artifacts and probably lower the IQ of the lens

Poilu, their was almost no noise reduction on the horse shots. A lady had been asking me about the canon 28-135 IS lense. I had been showing her mine and told her she could get a lot better lense. That is probably is what these were with the horses. I have one that I seldom use but carry just for the once and a while that it might be useful. You can get decent pictures with it but it takes a lot of PP to get what the flek, yashica or my L glass give right out of the camera.

I like the subdued yellow of the flower.

The horse in #2 looks quite sharp and I also think the color is great.

I like all for different reasons: 1st one, color and clarity; 2nd one, for comp
and the animation going on in the BG adds to it; 3rd one, for mystery, what
were the two ladies talking about, and the approaching blond seems to have
her "headlights" on, was the weather on the cold side? I'm in big trouble if
this happens to be your wife...

Perhaps those are the sharpening artefacts Poilu thinks he saw? Smile

Thanks Mike and Bill.

I take the film camera with me to most of the horse shows, trying to get film and scanning worked out.

The blonde is definately NOT my wife. She does have a real set of headlights. They tell me that years ago she was really something to look at.

(Whew!) Sure glad she wasn't your wife, Ron! Laughing She looks about my
age, and in pretty good shape (compared to the ones her age you see in
Walmart down here.) Laughing
