Is this a Pentacon 6 with adapter ?

Lens looks P6 equivalent but with exakta mount, first one what I seen.

This is the Biometar 120/2.8 coupled with the shortest extension tube on the Pentacon Six (Provia 100 slide film)

I did read not so entusiastic reviews of this lens but I found out it to be excellent.

What kind of scanner do you have ? Not only picture is very nice, seems scanning quality also excellent.

Epson V700. And I can confirm is really excellent. With 6x6 slide I can get 28 Megapixels images (like the about the 11000 euro Hassie Razz), of course with a different feeling than digital but the detail is here.

If you wanna see full size examples I have a couple on Flickr. Be careful they're huge (11 MB each) but can give you an idea about the quality of the scanner.

Far worse than a 8-10 MP digital camera but I had only old low quality film to experiment with.

I hope to finish soon a Tmax 100 B&W roll and post the results here.

Very good grain control! Do you use ICE, or Ninja, or...?

ICE but the Fujifilm slides in themselves are excellent. Probably they could be scanned even at higher resolution (with some Imacon or drum scanners)

Another thing that baffled me before.

Using medium quality lenses like the ones in folders like Ikontas, Isolettes, etc I could reach just 8-10 MP with 6x6 or 6x9 slide film.
These cameras were designed to have their film printed directly to the photographic paper (I have some old family images printed this way).

CZJ lenses for Pentacon Six are all another world.
