I did read not so entusiastic reviews of this lens but I found out it to be excellent. _________________ Alessandro

Epson V700. And I can confirm is really excellent. With 6x6 slide I can get 28 Megapixels images (like the about the 11000 euro Hassie ), of course with a different feeling than digital but the detail is here.
If you wanna see full size examples I have a couple on Flickr. Be careful they're huge (11 MB each) but can give you an idea about the quality of the scanner.

Far worse than a 8-10 MP digital camera but I had only old low quality film to experiment with.
I hope to finish soon a Tmax 100 B&W roll and post the results here. _________________ Alessandro

Another thing that baffled me before.
Using medium quality lenses like the ones in folders like Ikontas, Isolettes, etc I could reach just 8-10 MP with 6x6 or 6x9 slide film.
These cameras were designed to have their film printed directly to the photographic paper (I have some old family images printed this way).
CZJ lenses for Pentacon Six are all another world. _________________ Alessandro
