Shot at dusk, couldn't wait till dawn. 105/4 micro-nikkor lens between
f5.6 and f8, and in all the excitement, I forget which is which:

Both excellency !!
The second one captures you immediately, the first one more slowly, but prevails in the end.

And wow, this Nikkor rocks!

Holy Nikkors!

You know Bill I used to fish for Salmon at this time of day alot. I think you've caught on to something (ouch nasty pun). These evening flower shots from you have been great. Keep them coming Very Happy

Maestro Orio, high praise indeed, (I'll tell my lens). The one white flower is
close to the ground, I have many more buds on top of the plants that
haven't opened yet, none of the red ones have. I intend to festoon this
place with azaleas! I'm kidding, but will show some when they bloom!

This micro-nikkor is the AI'd version, one of my faves.

Thanks, Bob, try not to look at Orio's flower pics right after mine. Laughing

Mike, I planted four azalea bushes over 4 years ago, and this year they
have really broken out in buds! Highly recommended, I like their foliage, too.

Here's one about to pop very soon, taken when I was running out of light
tonight, same lens:

Well, we have 3 or 4 bushes left, they have been on a steady decline the last couple of years. I will try to get some shots when the buds open up. Other than that I have just my apple tree to shoot. If nothing else, your shots make me want to go outside with my camera!

Very nice Bill =- I like the imperfections in the petals, people rarely show them.
