kiron 2.8/105 macro with glass element adapter?

Hey all,
Been reading the forum for a while and this is my first post. I use a sony a100 and came across an olympus kiron 105 for next to nothing. I have looked into om to sony adapters and can only find ones with glass elements for infinity focus, which i dont need on a macro. Would the adapters be worthwhile or would the image quality suffer too much? I can sell the lens for some profit but am not sure if I should. Thanks for any help.

Answer is - it depends. Some folk say the degradation in image quality doesn't bother them - which is probably true enough if you're only ever going to print out at 6x4 or so - others don't like it at all.
If you're only going to use it for macro you could remove the glass element.

also, adapter thickness might be suited to fit the glass element and after removing it, you might be stuck with thicker-than-necessary adapter that costs more than a glassless adapter.
