That snow storm would cause a big collapse over here.

Nice photos. Rain has something magical for people from the southern countries. Smile

Great shots.

with snow like that we'd have panic buying in the shops, our transport system would grind to a halt and schools would close...

Some very difficult shots in there, well executed. They really convey the feeling of the atmosphere.

I will always remember a snow storm that happened to me on the mountains of Rogaland, Norway.
I was out there with a friend, I was driving a rented car.
There was sunlight and a sky that was blue for a good part, with only some clouds. The air was sparkling but definitely not cold, just mildly cool
In the turn of a couple of minutes since I looked at the blue sky (I am not kidding), a snow storm arrived. The freezing wind was so strong that for the life of me, with all my muscle force I was not able to open the car's door. The snow was falling nearly horizontally.
After less than 5 minutes of that, and I am probably abundant with time, on the road surface, a layer of totally frozen snow, hard just like ice, was covering the surface. The layer was at least 3 cms and it was impossible to make the car move over that.
Another 5 minutes after, and the sun was back, and the warmth quickly dissolved the layer of frost, allowing me to drive back to Stavanger.

That was the strangest atmospheric phenomenon that I was ever witness of.

Thanks for sharing!. Believe or not, I've never been in a snow storm...
And I've touched snow only a few times.

Nice pictures!
