Fantastic photograph!!! Powerful forces... Anachronism is a fascinating title. Me being silly might say something like "Anacronyism" , but I don't want to be impolite -- this is a seriously great photo imho! On subject matter alone. The technical quality is great, although I hear somebody in the background calling for a tilt lens. There's always that person...

I like the composition very much. But I would call it "juxtaposition." 'Anachronism' is a subjective term and focuses attention on the church, but the skyscraper is also an interesting structure. The photograph is obviously a great example of juxtaposition, which is more of an objective term anyway. Just my 0.02.

@Minolfan - juuust a few bits missing in order to be symmetrical

@visualopsins - I have always with me the 35/2.8 Canon TS but this time no tripod. Even with tripod would've been too wide, narrow street, trees in front of the church.

That is a nice idea, the contrast, I like doing things like this
However I would probably try to improve it along the lines of making the cross more visible and the whole compo less symmetric. Maybe from another angle
