hmmm. Not much good if its cold and rainy, shivering causes camera shake.

A monopod would achieve the same if not better results, be cheaper, and you wouldn't look so much of a twat wearing all this gear.

It's a rope or cord attached to the camera, you step on the other end and pull it tight, helps you steady the camera.
